About Laura

Experienced caregiver with 15+ years caring for disabled and elderly individuals that need support with daily care and mobility. I can help with showering, dressing, mobility assistance, dementia care, feeding assistance, transportation, run errands, companionship, daily exercises, light housekeeping, meal preparation, electric hoyer lift and other mobility devices. I'm experienced in de-escalating stressful situations, and handling any confusion, or behavioral changes that may arise. Communication with families is important to me to ensure the client is getting the care that works for them and still allows them to be independent. I've worked for homecare companies, private homes, and also cared for my own family members so I have a strong understanding of all the work and stress that goes into caring for a loved one. I currently work with a home care company, but I'm looking for a couple extra days on my own close to Glastonbury.
