About Julia

Hello! My name is Julia and I recently moved to the DC area from Pittsburgh in August. Regarding my experience, I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in social work and have worked with children in a professional setting for numerous years. I started my career with children as a Camp Counselor in which I facilitated activities for children ages 5-14. I then worked at a therapeutic preschool for a year as a SEL Support Staff member and then as a Mental Health Worker in an outpatient school-based service for elementary aged children. I'd describe my personality as friendly, empathetic, and organized! I started working with kids when pursuing my Bachelors degree and have enjoyed working with children since. In my spare time I like to read, go on walks, and spend time with friends and family.
