About Julia

I have been a home health aide for a little over two years. Throughout my career, I've provided meal preparation and feeding, bathing and grooming, help with transitions (wheelchair to stair chair, etc), transportation to errands and appointments, housekeeping that includes laundry, bed sheets, dishes, floors, trash, etc, and redirection and engagement for my clients. I look to enrich the lives of my clients as well as their loved ones who take care of them. I like caring for seniors because I learn so much from them. I grew up very close to my grandparents and aim to give every senior I am lucky to meet the care they deserve. I learned a bit about elderly care in my senior year at University of San Diego and felt called to get involved then. I started working in the field shortly after graduation and haven't looked back since. In my spare time, I like to read, draw, workout, and watch tv:) I am currently enrolled in a CNA program starting in June on the weekends.
