About Julia

Hi there! My name is Julia and I am soon to be new to Ann Arbor. I am originally from Boston and I am leaving home for the first time! For the last few years I lived with my grandparents and we had a blast- I loved to cook for or with them, sit and chat or watch tv/movies, and even go out for walks/adventures (they both love to explore the library, Trader Joe's, TJ Maxx, etc). I have experience outside of my grandparents working with individuals with cerebral palsy as well as cognitive differences, so I am competent in caring for those who use mobility aids including wheelchair transfers, bathing and dressing. I have experience with medication administration including IM injections for insulin management. In addition to personal care and entertainment, I am happy to take care of any and all household chores and errands. If you are looking for someone caring, gentle and responsible to spend time with your elderly loved ones, I would love to chat to see if we might be a good fit!
