About Julia

I have been tutoring students since 2016, working with learners from elementary school through college. I have experience helping students build strong foundations in core subjects, improve study habits, and gain confidence in their academic abilities. My strongest subject area is math, and I particularly enjoy helping students break down complex concepts into manageable steps. In addition to subject tutoring, I also provide standardized test preparation for the SAT, ACT, and AP exams. I focus on teaching effective problem-solving strategies and test-taking techniques that help students improve both their understanding and their scores. Over the years, I have worked with students of many different learning styles and academic goals. Whether a student needs help catching up, staying on track, or preparing for an important exam, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment that helps them succeed.
