Hello! I am a volunteer Crisis Counselor for NAMI. I am certified by the Oregon Health Authority as a Traditional Health Worker/Peer Wellness Specialist, with advanced training as a Youth & Young Adult Peer Mentor. I am also finishing up the Yoga Calm Instructor certification. It is a secular program designed for youth, with the intent to build social and emotional skills in a fun, active and engaging way. Applicable work experience I have was through a Professional Child Care Referral Service for two years. For over a decade (on and off) prior to that, I worked as a babysitter through less formal means.
