About Julia

I have been studying early childhood and elementary education for the last 3 years at the University of Minnesota. I have developed skills in lesson planning and developmentally appropriate activities and educational approaches. My course content has ranged from mathematical pedagogy to diverse literature in children's books. I have field experience as a reading buddy (tutor for 2nd grade), student teaching, and observational field work. I would love to give back, and help out students that are struggling in specific areas. I am a creative, progressive, and alternative thinker. I will provide unique and specialized approaches while tutoring.
