About Julia

Hello my name is Julia. I have over 10 years experience tutoring English as a second language, general education and computer applications. I have a proven track record of commended performance teaching youths and adults with a passion for education and an unwavering commitment to optimizing student learning success. I have the ability to assist my non-native English-speaking students with acquiring an A1 level English. I enjoy to read with student s one-one-one and work to improve their ability to read aloud. I require my students asked to read books, magazines, newspapers, and journals for homework and to use flash cards to increase their vocabulary. I will take my students to social gatherings, restaurant, stores, etc with there are English speakers, so that can practice their skills and role play. My professional employment for over the past 20 years is working in the Information Technology career field. I am a retired United States Air Force veteran that specializes in Communications-Computer Systems and Cyber Systems Operations. I am proficient in providing desktop support to customers, server management, providing user training, managing and operating an user applications help desk. I reside San Antonio, TX.
