Making a positive impact on people's lives is what drives me. I am passionate about supporting adults and seniors, helping them maintain their well-being and independence. I also want to provide families with a reliable care option. As a caregiver, I am patient, calm, professional, and detail-oriented. I communicate with families through regular updates via text or phone call, and always follow their preferred method. Respecting a care recipient's independence is very important to me. I am experienced in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and redirecting attention when needed. For the past six years, I have been one of my aunt's primary caregivers. She has cerebral palsy, and I assist her with personal hygiene, transportation, feeding, cleaning, and clothing. I also provide transportation, run errands, do light housekeeping, prepare meals, and provide mobility assistance.
