About Jules

I have been in the childcare and early childhood education field for 6 years. My experience expands across art-based, Piagetian, and Montessori educational curriculums. These various programs have shaped my approach to childcare to be child centered; meaning fostering an environment that encourages play, creativity, and independence while keeping close bonds and strengthening social-emotional skills. I have experiencing working with children with ASD as well as behavioral challenges. I have an Associates of Arts degree in Human Sciences and am currently completing my Bachelors of Social Work at Loyola! With my education I will be focusing on child/adolescent mental health and social justice. I am from Chicago, so my passion for youth in the city inspires me to help raise a generation of kind and empathetic children.
