About Judith

I have cared for 11 infants in the past 18 years as a nanny. I often cared for these children until they went on to preschool. Before that I worked professionally in child care centers, and raised three wonderful kids of my own. I believe in attending to a child's needs right away, and believe this will build in the baby a solid trust in me. At the same time, I know when to step back when a child is engrossed with something, so I don't interfere with their exploration. I want you to know that the safety of your child is my first priority. Also that I know that smiles, songs, music, books, walks, conversation, giggles, sunshine, tummy time and age appropriate toys provide the physical and mental stimulation so necessary for a child's happiness and healthy development. The ability to comfort and ease discomforts is one of my strong points. I do the baby's housekeeping: clean up after feeding, organize and clean toys and play area, laundry.
