My name is Jude and I am a child care professional raised in Seattle. Children are not only my career choice, but my passion! I have dedicated my life to working with children with a focus in education. I have over 8 years of experience through nannying, teaching, and service. Courses in child development and S. T. A. R. S certified. In 2019 I had the privilege of doing 6 months of service in education, through an Americorps program for under privileged youth in the state of New York. This experience shaped my outlook on the importance of focus on the needs of children as individuals, helping to create an equal foundation that helps promote the success of EVERY CHILD. I love making fun and engaging enrichment that support child development through arts and music. I believe the care of a child is through patience, positive reinforcement, and above all else, love. Jude was our nanny from age 6 months to 2 years, and we are so thankful we found her. She somehow loved and took care of our daughter just as we did: she had great moments of field trips and play, and she also persevered graciously through teething, tantrums, and general meltdowns and messes. She frequently went above and beyond to keep our daughter’s place clean, keep her well fed with nutritious home-cooked meals, prepared development curriculum and activities, and initiated check-ins with us parents. (For most of those 18 months, she also cared for a second child—one boy, one girl—simultaneously when we coordinated two separate nanny shares.) Our family will value her forever.
