About Juan

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With eight years of experience, I specialize in English, musical instruments, and study skills for elementary through high school students. I hold a college degree and maintain current CPR training and First Aid certification. My approach centers on building confidence and critical thinking rather than rote memorization. I assess your unique learning style through active observation, tailoring my methods to include visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. By breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and celebrating small wins, I keep students motivated and engaged. I believe consistent communication with families is essential to foster a collaborative, supportive environment. Witnessing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills remains the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals.
