Hello! I'm Joylynn and I am a passionate early childhood educator looking to partner with a family interested in joining a nanny share with one other family/child beginning in August--age 6mo in Aug. I have been working in child care for 10 years. I rank safety as a top priority and this involves my up-to-date CPR & first-aid certification, as well as constant and active supervision while children are in my care. I enjoy engaging with children through art, literature, song, and movement. I'm a strong believer in the benefits of all-weather play so I spend time outside with children daily (given the conditions are safe). I respect children and promote developmentally appropriate autonomy and independence. I incorporate various ECE philosophies in my approach, including Montessori and Reggio-based practices and activities.

Joy is an AMAZING nanny! She is great with our 6 month old twins and works hard to keep them happy and entertained each day. She sings, plays with them, takes them outside, and makes sure to keep them on the feeding/nap schedule we provided. She is also a good communicator and multi-tasker. Her energy is infectious and our kids love her!
