About Joyce

As an indigenous woman I have been taught that our elders are sacred. My own grandparents hold a special place in my heart, which is why I treat all elders as my grandparents. I cared for my own great grandmother who had dementia before she passed on and was a personal companion of two elders for two years. I am able to help with those who are still pretty independent I'm a very small woman so lifting alone isn't ideal for me. With proper equipment and techniques I can assist with dressing, bathing, light physical activity or just to sit and talk with them and watch tv.
