About Joyce

Joyce is an incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, loving, and dependable caretaker. She has been with our family for almost 1.5 years, and started watching our daughter when she was just 5 months old. I knew from day one that Joyce would be someone that I could trust with my child. I’m a first-time mom who is particular about things being done a certain way, and Joyce not only met all expectations, but exceeded them as well. She is punctual in every way—whether it be with coming in to work, timing how long the bottles needed warming so that the temp was perfect, or following our daughters nap schedule to the minute. She is meticulous with things like diaper changes (our baby never had diaper rash). She is accommodating and flexible with changes to our baby’s routine and our work schedules. But the thing we cherished most about Joyce is the level of engagement/energy she has with our daughter. Both my husband and I work from home, and we would constantly see Joyce talking, playing, singing, and laughing with our little one for hours. Our baby met so many physical and verbal milestones early on, and we 100% believe this is because of Joyce. She would consistently encourage and practice different skills with our child day in and day out, and we are still surprised by how much she has developed and learned during this time with Joyce. She treats all her nanny kids as if they are her own, and truly becomes a part of the family. Although our daughter will be starting day care soon, we plan to continue reaching out to Joyce for date nights. She is the best!
