About Joy

I am a kindergarten teacher with 15 years of teaching experience. For four consecutive summers, I gained much experience caring for multiple elementary aged kids while working at my school's Summer Day Camp. I planned their activities, field trips, crafts, and snacks. For two summers, I worked for a family as a private nanny. I cared for their two elementary school age boys. Each day I would have a fun activity planned from cooking and baking to visiting fun places in the area. The last 2 summers I worked for Primrose School and worked with all ages from the youngest babies to the elementary age students in the Summer DayCamp Program. Mentoring kids is my passion. All through high school, I had babysitting jobs. In college, I gained experience in caring for infants by working for a daycare in Tn while getting my bachelor's degree. I am looking for a summer job that ranges from the end of May to the beginning of August. Looking forward to working with you!
