About Sylvia

Hey there! I'm 21 and a senior at the College of Charleston studying psychology with a minor in communication. This past summer, I worked at MUSC as a therapeutic assistant on both the adult and children's floors, which really deepened my love for working with kids. I've been long-term nannying since 2020 and have experience with kids of all ages, from a fun 6-year-old girl to two energetic boys ages 4 and 6 and looking after my three cousins who live locally on James Island. I grew up in Greenville, SC, and have always loved babysitting or nannying, whether looking after my cousins or helping out at church with the newborns. I plan to go to grad school for clinical psychology after I graduate, but I'll be around Charleston this summer and available to work! I also love dogs and have a2-year-old pit/Australian Sheppard rescue at home, who is full of puppy energy, so if you have dogs you need me to take outside or play with, I am entirely comfortable with that!
