About Journey

Hi! My name is Journey and I am a current freshman at Chico State, but am originally from Woodland and will be spending my summer there. I currently am working towards a degree in Child Development with a minor in Social Work. I am a responsible student with a 3. 5+ GPA and I'm also bilingual in both English and Spanish! Making a positive impact on children's lives is what I strive for. I have three years of experience caring for children aged 9 mon -13 years old. I am comfortable watching multiple kiddos at a time too! I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents through verbal updates at pickup and regular texts, always following your preferred method. I am willing to help with carpooling, light housekeeping, or any other errands that need to be ran. I look forward to bringing my passion for childcare to your family.
