About Journey

Hi! My name is Journey and I am entering my freshman year at Chico State. Throughout high school I was a 4. 0 student and participated in a lot of extra curricular activities. (I am also bilingual in both English and Spanish!) Once I began to TA for dance classes at my dance studio, I realized I wanted to babysit! Making a positive impact on children's lives is what I strive for. I have two years of experience caring for children aged 2-12. I usually care for up to 3 kids at a time, but have babysat for 6 kids at once. I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents through verbal updates at pickup and regular texts, always following your preferred method. I am willing to help with carpooling, light housekeeping, or any other errands that need to be ran. I look forward to bringing my passion for childcare to your family.
