About Jourden

I'm a dual-licensed teacher in both General Education and Special Education with a degree in Early Childhood Inclusive Education & seven years of experience working with children prior. I bring strong skills in child development, flexible learning, behavior support, & creating fun, engaging activities tailored to each child's needs. I'm patient, dependable, creative, & comfortable working with a wide range of ages, personalities, & abilities. I'd describe my personality as nurturing, reliable, & energetic. I love working with kiddos because every child is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know their personality and finding what makes them learn, laugh, & feel confident. I love being someone who can make kids feel supported & understood. I started working with children about 10 years ago, caring for kids from toddlers to age 12. I've now been an educator in the public schools for the past five years, working with children with a wide range of ages, abilities, and needs.
