About Josey

Grew up in a family of nine children and have always had children in my life. I raised two children of my own and have an easy way of charming children of all ages. I am well traveled and educated and what I love most with children is having fun, being creative, getting involved with nature, and stimulating active participatory learning. I am a great story teller. I am a Certified Montessori Teacher with over seven years of full- time teaching. In the summer of 2018 I completed 10 areas of required New York State pre-K certification courses. Over 5 years Substitute Teacher Pre-K to HS in Virginia Beach & Cape Charles (Eastern Shore) Virginia public schools. Master's Degree in Communications ODU; Bachelor of Fine Art, Design. More than 10 years summer camp counselor and management positions. I will submit certifications, criminal background and letters of reference by email.
