About Joselyn

I am currently a Behavioral Health Specialist for the National Guard pursuing my Masters degree in Social Work! I am CPR/BLS certified as well. My experience in the military and other volunteer programs have enhanced my abilities to not only educate myself with at-risk youth and children, but to be able to work with them patiently and compassionately as well as their parents. The students I have taught vary from ages 5-15 both within a group and individual settings Not only has this taught me the different needs of the different age groups, but has challenged me to diversify my teaching methods dependent upon the personalities and needs of the children as well. I pride myself in creativity when creating lesson plans, as I like to interact with children and made learning a fun and enjoyable experience.
