About Jordyn

Throughout my life I have most commonly found myself gravitating toward caregiving roles. Starting out babysitting close family and friends quickly turned into daycare and early learning center positions. Once I began my degree in communication sciences and disorders, I began working with vulnerable adults and volunteering at an assisted living facility. Then, I completed my degree and was earning my speech language pathology assistant certificate, I began working with students with disabilities, primarily non-verbal autism. I have continued working with children in the public school setting as a speech language pathology assistant. Through it all I have grown to be more empathetic, patient, and understanding. I have developed the ability to support the social, emotional, and sensory needs of each individual through communication and connection.
