About Jonathan

I'm a certified Texas teacher with two years of full-time, professional teaching experience at a high school. I am also a college graduate with a minor and literature who uses a blend of directed instruction, visual examples, walk-throughs, Socratic questioning, and one-on-one coaching to ensure that lightbulb goes off with each student. I meet students where they are in terms of their writing and analysis abilities if they're struggling with a particular concept, will stay on that topic for as long as necessary until they feel comfortable In addition, I have 15 years of business experience in the corporate world which can help lend to real life value in teaching conversations. I am also a father of two children myself, and I understand how important each students individual journey is. I will take the time needed to make sure your learner is well equipped for whatever is next.
