About Jo

Hello! My name is Jo (short for Johanna)! I currently work at BVSD as a special skills aide for students with disabilities in the transitions program. I also have 3 prior years of experience in working with children in the education system-both as a paraprofessional and as a registered behavior technician. About me: I'm 27 years old and currently live in Golden, CO. I am an honors graduate of Black Hills State University in South Dakota, where I received my bachelors degree in English Literature. I'm an energetic person, so I'm constantly finding creative ways to stay busy. In my free time, I love to hike, read, and spend time with my cat. I also paint and write! Being an older sibling and cousin, I've been a babysitter off and on for my whole life. I truly enjoy spending my time caring for and having fun with children! Currently, I'm seeking a part-time evening nanny position in the Boulder area.
