About Jokobi

Hi, my name is Kobi, and I'm 19 years old with three years of experience in childcare and education. I began my journey as a babysitter for my neighbor's 11-month-old child, providing care every Friday for a year. From there, I transitioned to a senior counselor role at Camp Joy, where I worked for two and a half years, gaining leadership and mentorship experience. Currently, I am a tutor at Bramble Nature Campus, part of the Cincinnati Public School District, where I support preschoolers through the Literacy Lab program, helping lay the foundation for their future academic success. In addition, I am a first-year student at the University of Cincinnati, studying secondary education with a focus on history and social studies, as I work toward my goal of becoming a teacher. I am passionate about education, child development, and creating positive, nurturing environments for young learners.
