I love teaching foreign languages! My goal is to make language learning fun for everyone. A little bit about me: I grew up speaking Spanish from age 8 with my neighbors from El Salvador and my stepmom is Peruvian. I graduated college with an education degree and a minor in Spanish. In 2010, I was a 1st and 2nd grade teacher in Budapest, Hungary, and later an AmeriCorps volunteer in Boston at a kids fitness/nutrition program where I spoke Spanish every day. In 2013, I decided to go self-employed so I could help students on an individual basis. Later, I added French to my repertoire. Now I work with students in elementary, middle and high school from French 1 / Spanish 1 to AP French / AP Spanish, and I teach adults conversational classes as well. I publish fun (and funny) short stories and develop my own curriculums to use with my students. My lessons are interactive, fun and personalized for each student.

I Hired Johanna for a French teacher for my daughter in 8th grade this year. Johanna will continue to work with her through the year! I highly recommend her if your child is taking French as a foreign language! She's Kind, patient, makes learning the language fun and is really helping my daughter learn! We are continuing throughout the year so she is currently working with us. And maybe throughout next year and the rest of high school.
