About Debra

I took Spanish in high school for 4 years and have been refreshing my memory as of late. If someone needs help with the early stages of learning Spanish I am the person for the job. I am also proficient in the English language and am happy to be a reading tutor. When I was younger I tutored all the kids in my neighborhood. I helped my cousins begin school knowing how to read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide when they entered elementary school. I am not professionally trained but enjoy educating children in their environment. I am patient, reliable and fun. I can also play chess. I was able to teach one of the children I used to be a nanny for. My father was an experienced chess player and he competed in the USCF.
