About Joelly

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary and middle school students in Math, English, Art, History, and Study Skills, I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization. I adapt to your unique learning style by observing how you interact with new material, utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. When concepts feel challenging, I break them into manageable steps and celebrate every small success to maintain your momentum. I believe open communication with you and your family is essential to creating a collaborative, supportive environment. My greatest joy is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I am comfortable with pets and happy to meet you at your home, a library, or online. I look forward to helping you discover a genuine love for learning.
