About Jodi

My name is Jodi and I am 29 years old, living in Portland OR. I am currently looking for an active, affectionate, and mindful family to be welcomed into. I have worked in childcare for over a decade in many capacities; babysitting, nannying, summer camps, behavioral therapy with kiddos on the autism spectrum. I am currently a full time midwifery student and work at a birthing center in SE. My childcare style centers around patience and fostering an environment in which children feel safe and supported so they can push their personal boundaries and grow to the most of their ability. I believe all activities are an opportunity to learn, so I make a point to utilize art, nature, cooking, and creating as opportunities to grow. I love working with kids of all ages and abilities and have experience working with both parents in the house so I am completely comfortable cooking for all and doing light house keeping, when requested, to help the family unit as a whole.
