About Jodie

For the past 34 years, I've been passionate about helping elementary students unlock their full potential. I have a Master's degree in Special Education and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. In addition, I recently received my English as a Second Language teaching license. I create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests and celebrating their successes. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates to parents to foster a collaborative environment. The most rewarding part of tutoring is seeing a student's confidence blossom as they master new skills. I am willing to work with kindergarten through third grade skills. We can meet at a student's home or the local library. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications. I would love to help your child thrive and feel confident for the upcoming school year.
