I have worked providing services for children for over 20 years. I was a teacher at Berkeley Building Blocks in Oak Park, Mi, until I left and started my own private teaching services. Health and Safety is my number one priority very important to me when it comes to the children. I provide A1 service to the children while I am working, I do not do housekeeping services. I teach every day a lesson for the kids. Consistency is important in the life of children starting with new born babies. 
Reading, Singing, Counting, ABC's, and Colors are done everyday for the children to start to recognize these basic things the more you do it the more they learn. I do clean all babies bottles and empty diaper pails daily, I will fold baby laundry (only). I am Dependable I do have references. 
Each additional child their is a $5. 00 charge per child per hour.

Joanne has been great watching our little boy. I felt very confident and comfortable leaving him at just 3 months with her. He was in good hands and we really appreciate all her help.

Joanne had been watching my daughter for about 5 months now and she had been wonderful! My daughter was 6 months old when Joanne started and now she looks forward to seeing Ms Joanne! 
She is always on time and puts my daughter's needs first.  I don't have to give her lots of direction because she has so much experience. If I could afford to have her everyday I would! My daughter has grown fond of her, and Joanne actually gets her to sleep more than I can on the weekend!

When we set out to hire a nanny for our daughter we wanted to make sure it was someone that we would welcome in as apart of our family and that is just what Joanne has become. Our daughter loves her. Not only does Joanne interact with her but assists her in learning new skills appropriate for her age. Joanne is always going above and beyond even when its not expected by doing general clean up like running the dishwasher, light laundry and picking up toys. We truly appreciate her and would recommend her to any family.

To be honest I couldn't write a good enough review for Joanne. We do not consider her our employee, but family and in this day and age that it nearly impossible to find. She has helped raise my daughter and is effective in keeping children engaged in learning. Joanne has a firm approach to discipline, and structure, which I believe every child needs. Every day my daughter is given the same routine. I have gotten compliments many times on how smart, kind, and polite my daughter is. I can not take the credit by myself and have to give the majority of the credit to Joanne and her knowledge and guidance when it comes to raising children. Additionally, she cleans without being asked. My fiancé and I both work and attend college full time and at times get a little behind, but with her around we never get behind on household choirs. If you are looking for an employee move on to the next, because Joanne is not just an employee but family to many.

Joanne is a very caring person. When you want a good honest and reliable person she's yr person. Very trust worthy.
