About Joanna

I currently work at an assisted living community with residents of various stages of getting older. Whether that be just assisting or stand by by while in the shower and/or getting dressed, giving them a shower and dressing them, helping them with toileting, escorting to meals or feeding and occasionally giving medications, etc. I also have some experience working hands on with residents in the memory care unit. Ranging from slight cognitive disabilities to some with Alzheimer's and a little dementia. I have a very caring and empathetic personality. I treat everyone with respect and kindness, but also understanding that it sometimes takes being a little stern when called for. I am passionate about making others feel comfortable and happy, and showing them love they may not otherwise receive.
