About Joana

Hi! I'm Joana. I live in San Bruno, study accounting at College of San Mateo, and speak both English and Spanish. I spent about two years helping my brother babysit his child, and I also worked as a behavior technician at an elementary school. At the school, I worked one-on-one with a student, helping with reading, writing, and getting through the daily classroom routine. I'm patient and easygoing, and I like getting to know what each kid enjoys. I'm happy to read together, play games, or spend time outside. Working at a school taught me how to stay calm when a child is having a tough moment and give them time to try again.
