About Jillian

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is my primary goal. As a Certified teacher with three years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, Test Preparation, and musical instruction for elementary students. My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I create an engaging, supportive environment by breaking complex problems into manageable steps to build momentum. I prioritize open communication with you and your family to identify the methods that work best for your unique learning style. Witnessing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills remains the most rewarding part of my work. Whether we meet at your home, my home, the library, or online, I look forward to helping you succeed and discovering the joy in your academic journey.
