About Jillian

Hello! My name is Jillian and I'm excited to work with you and your family. My goal is to create a safe space for children to feel every emotion and express themselves! Safety always comes first with me, but building a connection with your child(ren) is very important. Every child is different and I do my best to alter my care/approach based on a specific kid's needs. Communication is also important to me, feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them. My skills include patience, goofiness, and determination. I'm determined to try and fail until I find a way to build a relationship with kiddos. That requires patience. Goofiness comes into play because it can help regulate and deescalate stressful and scary situations. I often research childcare methods from professionals. I try very hard to use language and care that is most beneficial for children. Whether it be emotionally, physically, or mentally -- I want children to feel safe and supported around me.
