About Jillian

Hi! I'm a senior college student from Faribault, Minnesota, currently studying political science and a certificate in resilience and trauma-informed perspectives at the University of Iowa - basically understanding how early experiences shape brain development. I have over 5 years of babysitting experience, I spent this past summer nannying full time for a 7-month-old. I also have 5+ years as a lifeguard and lifeguard manager, and have taught swim lessons to babies and toddlers, so water safety is something I take seriously and love sharing with little ones. I have a real passion for the infant stage because it's such a critical window for development. I love supporting growth through sensory play, movement, language, lots of responsive interaction, and making sure they feel safe and secure. I believe the best learning happens through play and a safe environment. I have a professional rescue certification, CPR/AED and first aid certification, and am trained in water safety.
