About Jillian

Hello there! My name is Jillian and what has always connected me most to children is that I am one at heart. I adore crafts, painting/scribbling, water sports, board games, brain tricks- anything I used to once enjoy is still my vice. Aside from that, I've been a babysitter on and off for over five years whilst manning an online business. In my free time, I do lots of traveling & yoga! I've been told I have a very soft and forgiving way of experiencing life. I've spent the better part of the past couple of years learning about neurophysiology on my own to acquire more awareness of myself and how to overcome daily challenges. Learning about the human's regulatory system has also helped me understand children's emotions as well. My skills include emotional regulation (VERY important for children learning and experiencing strong emotions for the first time), compassion-based approaches, awesome kids game creator, and applying those regulation skills ESPECIALLY when things go wrong.
