About Jill

I am an experienced, bilingual teacher with a varied teaching background both professionally and personally. Not only have I taught preschool, elementary, middle, and special education, but I am a mom of a child on the autism spectrum. This life experience has given me a unique perspective as a teacher and has given me a greater understanding of all my students. As a tutor, I will pay close attention to your child's unique learning style and needs, and ensure that I teach him or her accordingly. The subjects I can teach are Spanish, Elementary ELA and Math, and I have experience working with these students on all academic levels including those students with special needs such as ADHD, anxiety, autism, sensory disorder, and the gifted and talented. I believe that learning should be fun and that children learn best through play. So, if I get the pleasure to teach your child, I'm confident that he or she will leave my class smiling and motivated to learn more.
