Hello! Thank you for reading my bio. I'm originally from England, but I'm now a US citizen and have lived here for 20 years. While I don't have any formal training in elder care, I have experience looking after my elderly father-in-law who was disabled after he had a stroke. I also spent two separate weeks as a teenager in the UK volunteering at a respite care home for disabled adults. I have a degree in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. I'm a mom to three girls and we have happy golden retriever and two cats. My husband is an aerospace engineer at NASA. We have lived in the Huntsville/ Madison area for over 10 years. I recently completed my Adult/Pediatric First Aid and CPR training. I'm a cheerful and patient person dedicated to providing the best care with respect and compassion. Since I have just started looking for positions, I don't have any reviews yet, but would be happy to provide references. Thank you!
