About Jessie

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Jessie. I am a former first grade and middle school teacher who graduated with a master's degree in English Education from Florida State University. I LOVE kids; throughout my time in college I was able to work as an EDP staff member at the School of Arts and Sciences on Monroe. This job allowed me to participate in fun and creative activities with kids after school. I was even given the opportunity to facilitate my own workshops with groups of kids. Additionally, when I was younger, I babysat quite often (the kids ranged from ages 7-12). I am an upbeat and energetic person who loves anything that is creative! In my free time I draw, read, paint, do yoga, hike, make films and do photography. I have lots of babysitting experience, I babysat two children (ages 7 & 11), a young baby, and another young boy (around 9 years old). Finally, I am a certified yoga instructor and I'd be happy to engage your child in various mindfulness activities:)
