About Jessica

I like caring for seniors because I feel that we have abandoned our elders and it's through connection with our elders that the wisdom gets passed on. So being in the presence of my elders enlivens me and allows me to give back to them and honor all they have moved through in their lifetime. I'm looking for a job that allows me to both give and receive. I'd love to especially work with native Hawaiian elders and spend time on the land together, and taking them on adventures. I spent most of my time as a child with my grandparents and that bond was the most special of my life. In my spare time, I go to Baldwin, walk and swim with my dog. I also love time in I'ao, on Haleakala for sunset and sharing time with loved ones. One thing you should know about me is my most important roles are being a mom to my 20-year-old son and a wife to my husband who I've been with for 13 years. My skills include clear communication, dependency, feeding them healthy, nourishing food.
