Greetings, my name is Jessica and I am a Caltech graduate with a bachelors of science in physics and I am a PhD student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying experimental nuclear physics. I am adept at physics and mathematics at all levels, including advanced calculus, linear algebra, and differential and partial differential equations. I am also knowledgeable about introductory and intermediate chemistry. Furthermore, I am familiar with the SAT and ACT exams, having received a 36 on the ACT exam when I last took it. I have been to tutoring for several years and I have worked and/or volunteered at a history museum, a Sunday school, and a science camp. I also have babysitting experience. I like tutoring because I love when people learn about things that interest them and I love being able to pass on my knowledge. My skills include relating to the student, finding new ways to explain things, and patience.
