About Jessica

Hi! I'm Jessica, a patient and encouraging tutor who enjoys helping people build skills and confidence in a supportive, judgment-free environment. I offer ESL/English conversation, reading, writing, homework, and application support for adults and children. I previously tutored ESL students at Glendale Community College, where I studied English and earned Dean's Honors. I'm currently completing ESL tutor training through Multnomah County Library and am awaiting my 168-hour Level 5 TEFL certification. I also have 10 years of freelance writing and editing experience. My approach is patient, creative, and individualized. I'm a good listener and believe people learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
