About Jessica

Finding the right perspective and angle of approach is key to helping any student with their goals. Along with being an educator, I'm an artist. I have found that my style of teaching is a lot like my nature photography. You have to be both patient and alert at the same time to get the shot. I use those same skills to encourage growth in my students through conversation, observation and connecting concepts to what matters most to you. I believe clear communication is essential, prioritizing face-to-face discussions when necessary followed by written summaries. The most rewarding moment is seeing that "click" when a student grasps a challenging concept. I would love to help you find your perspective, and maybe even give you a fun sticker!
