About Jessica

My training and experience is in dementia care. My background is in social work and I recently completed my PhD with a specialty in older adults.. I work full time as a care navigator in a dementia caregiver support program for a hospital system. I am seeking part time work on the weekends and potentially in the evenings.. I enjoy engaging with persons with dementia and getting them active! I am very skilled in dealing with common behaviors including resistance. I can provide companionship, activity engagement, and help with chores. I have a lifetime of caregiving experience--I was primary caregiver to my father with complex medical issues until his death, I have cared for others in my family through their end stages of life as well. I have a big heart for older adults and a passion for those living with dementia. My goal is to be a support to you and your family. Highly reliable, patient, and able to think on my feet!
