About Jessica

Hi! I'm Jess, a lifelong learner who believes learning should be encouraging, interesting, and fun! I'm currently pursuing my bachelor's degree online, so while I don't have a teaching degree, I understand what it's like to be a student and work through challenging material. Math and science have traditionally been my strongest subjects, but I love learning a little about almost everything. I'm fascinated by foreign languages, enjoy the performing arts and sports, and believe there's always something new to discover. I'm patient and enjoy helping children find a way of learning that makes sense to them rather than assuming everyone learns the same way. I'm happy to help with homework, studying, organization, basic math and science, reading practice, and general academic support. My goal is to encourage curiosity, confidence, and progress--not perfection.
