About Jessica

As a nanny for multiple families, I have over 12 years of experience caring for children of all ages and children with disabilities. I used to be work for a nonprofit in CA that provided care for children with disabilities including autism, ADHD, and cerebral palsy etc. During this experience, I have learned to manage the diverse needs of children in different stages of development. I often am in charge of preparing the children's meals, bathing them, taking them out on walks or to the park and getting them ready for bed. During the day, we often play games and read books. I am committed to providing safe, nurturing, and educational environments for children in my care. I spent 2 years volunteering at Reading Partners as a reading tutor for under-resourced schools. I love helping children improve their reading skills and helping with hmwk. I received my PhD from the University of Oklahoma in Cognitive Psychology. Currently, I am only free on weekends and evenings during the week.
