I am BLS, CPR/AED Certified and a registered nurse. I have my license and my own car with a clean driving record. I have years of experience working with kids varying from camps, schools, and families. I've worked with different ages (7 months-15-year-olds+). I am also comfortable with animals of any kind. Rate: $35-50+

One child: $35/hr
Two kids: $38/hr

We were coming in from out of state for a child-free wedding. Jessica watched our 4 year old at our hotel room during the wedding. It was his first ever non-family babysitter, and he had a great time. She was available beforehand for a video call so our kiddo could meet her and get more comfortable. She was flexible and easy to communicate with!

We traveled to Norwalk, CT for a family wedding. The ceremony was adults only and we needed a babysitter to look after our two kids in our hotel room while the ceremony and reception went on. We chatted with Jessica a few weeks before the event over video chat and then organized the details for the babysitting job. 
She was punctual, asked great questions about the kids, communicated well during the job while we were at the ceremony and kept us updated on how they were doing during the evening (as we requested). She had a great attitude and my kids both loved being with her. She helped us out big time and I highly recommend her.

Jessica watched our 10 year old daughter and we were told that they had a great time.  Jessica was very clear in her communication and follow up confirming the day before.  She arrived promptly and was very personable.  We would definitely hire her again.

Unfortunately I had a pretty rough interaction with her and wouldn't recommend booking her for this reason. I posted a job opportunity and was vetting applicants. She responded Thursday night at 4:30pm and I put her in the running with 2 other sitters. I was waiting until Saturday night to find time to review people with my husband. I read her messages but wanted to confirm with my husband before getting back with a response. On Saturday before I could connect with my husband, she had sent the following message to me at 6pm:

"You're probably new on this app but for future reference, please don't leave babysitters on read. We take time to apply to positions. A simple answer would be nice. Good luck finding someone."

I tried to message back, but she had blocked me? It felt like a pretty aggressive response after only 2 days of not responding, and was disappointing because we were actually interested in her :-( At least it made our decision easier and we were able to refine our list down further.

Overall it didn't seem very professional and I feel like we probably avoided a problem personality so I guess everything is meant to be.

Jessica helped out our family big time in a pinch when we had no childcare and had to work.  She made a great first impression right away when she made sure to show up a few hours after a snow storm when most sitters would've canceled.  

I have a 17 month old and she kept him busy, fed him, changed his diapers- she did it all.  She also took him for a walk outside and kept him occupied while we worked.  

Jess is incredibly reliable, dependable and trustworthy.  We'll definitely be using her again soon!

We hired Jessica for Date nights and she was great, always on time. J., our 3-year-old was very fond of her, as was our 10 year old. We highly recommend her.

Jessica has such a pleasant and calm yet fun loving attitude and my daughter loved spending time with her. There were nonstop giggles! Jessica is very conscious of parenting preference, and she's mature and trustworthy. We've already had her back.
