About Jessamyn

Hi! My name is Jess, and I'm 23 years old, originally from Hawaii. I would describe myself as nurturing, responsible, and compassionate. I enjoy working with children because they keep me motivated engaged and laughing. I love nannying because it allows me to become a part of your family's community, spend meaningful time with children, and both teach and learn valuable life lessons that I hope to use in my own future. I began working with children at age 15, starting with babysitting neighbors' kids, and have since gained experience in childcare roles, including ABA therapy and nannying. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, sculpture, and painting. I bring a positive attitude, a good sense of humor, and a focus on understanding each child as an individual to effectively support them through challenges and emotions. My strengths include thoughtfulness, maintaining a clean environment, and conflict mediation. Currently employed part time with Jovie.
